#ADecadeOfLove: Our 11th Year Together

Hubby and I reached another milestone in our relationship. We just celebrated our 11th year as Boyfriend-Girlfriend last November 23. Yeah, we still celebrate it. I'm anticipating this day to come (another is our wedding anniversary) more than Christmas and Valentines Day. But we're not that type to have a grand celebration. A simple dinner date will suffice.

Our usual dine in place whenever we celebrate something special are Gerry's Grill, French Baker, Shakey's or Max's Restaurant. Nothing fancy and super expensive meal.

Anyway, this year we decided to eat at Pamana Restaurant in Tagaytay. we traveled for an hour to reach the place (we're from Imus, Cavite). And the travel time (back and forth) is all worth it.

Here's what we ordered.

Bulalo Steak, Ensaladang Mangga, Seafood Medley sa Gata and Fried Rice
The Original Bulalo Steak

This dish is fantastic. The meat is super tender and flavorful. Even hubby loved it. I was just a little bit disappointed because the dish was served a bit cold. I was expecting it to be super hot considering na it was served on a sizzling plate. hehehe

Ensaladang Mangga @ 160
I always ordered ensaladang mangga whenever we dined in at Gerry's Grill. I've been looking for this on the menu but I wasn't able to find it. Good thing I asked our server. This is my "pantanggal umay" dish.

Seafood Medley in Cocnut Milk
My husband ordered this dish. We were surprised to see the big servings. But just like the Bulalo Steak, the dish is kinda cold when served but still delicious. We're not able to finished it all so we asked the server to wrap it up so we can take it home.

It's dinner time and almost all the tables were occupied. The rooftop was closed during weekdays so we settled sitting down near the veranda. I wasn't able to take photos of the interior of the restaurant since it was full so medyo nahiya ako. hehehe.

We decided to head home after eating since it was already late. And that's how we celebrate our Anniversary. Boriiing!! hahahaha

Stationery Stuff Mini Haul (Again!)

Few days ago I went overboard and splurged a bit too much on stationery stuff once again. Uh Uh!! Two hauls in just a matter of week. Where did I get my money? I need to pull myself together. One more episode of shopping and I won't be able to buy my mom her birthday gift. hahahaha. Just kidding! :)

Anyway here's what I've got during my temporary insanity.

Table Calendar @ 99.75

Pens @ 99.75 per pack

Sticky Note / Page Flag  @59.75  for 2 packs (5 designs per pack)

Paper Tape @ 84.75 per pack of 3

I promised not to shop stationery stuff anymore until the end of the month. I'm saving money for Mommy Lhey's Stamp Collection. Hope to buy a set or 2 before the year ends.

Until here.
See you soon folks!

Nail Art using Wish 3D nail Stickers

I've been meaning to do some nail art posts a long time ago, but I'm not confident enough to post them so I've been shelving them in my draft folder. I think this will be my first nail art blog post. I usually use dots and lines (the reason why I'm not confident. hahaha) whenever I do my nail art. This is my first time to use nail stickers.

I got this 3d nail stickers at Watson. If I remember it right the price is P 29 for 2 packs of stickers. Not bad.

Directions for use:
1. paint your nails with any color that you want. I colored mine using Chic Nail Polish in Raspberry Pink. I got this at Watson for P 33.00. Let it dry.
2. Select a design of your choice.
3. Carefully remove the nail sticker from the sheet.
4. Place nail sticker on dry and polished nail then gently press down on your nail.
5. Apply top coat to seal the nail sticker. Let it dry.

Yay! presenting my nail art. :)

It's not so pretty and perfect. I'll try more designs next time. and will do my best to make it prettier. :)

Until here.
See you soon folks!

2. Add in the fish and 2 tablespoon patis. Cook for a few minutes.
3. Add in the rice washing or water. And cook for another 10 - 15 minutes.
4. Add in peppercorn, chilis, bokchoy and dahon ng sili. Let it simmer for a minute and turn of the heat.

Plan ahead with 2016 BDJ Power Planner

It's almost the end of 2015, and to those who loves to plan ahead of time or simply loves planners and journals as a whole, surely is looking for the best planners to use right now. I'm seeing a lot of different planners and journals posts but I'm sticking to my favorite planner of all time - The BDJ Power Planner.

This year's planner is their 10th edition. 10 years na ang BDJ Planner. yoohoo!! Anyway, I got my planner during the pre-order week, and I'm supposed to pick it up during the BDJ Fair. Unfortunately, BDJ Fair was cancelled (due to typhoon Lando) and moved to a much later date. Good thing though is that the BDJ Team decided to ship all the pre-ordered planners free of charge. *clap clap clap for the Team. :)

Inclusion:

1 Belle De jour Power Planner
Perks of a Bella booklet
BDJ Lifestyle Card
stickers to mark special days
magnetic bookmark

Price: P 598 though I got mine for P 500 (discounted price)

Today I'll show you what's inside the 2016 BDJ Power Planner. If you have the 2015 planner, the contents is basically the same.

Monthly Article.

There are few additional that I've seen.

The planner comes with a Perks of a Bella booklet with 40,000 worth of freebies and discount coupons and a BDJ lifestyle card. It can be found at the back pocket of the planner. Unlike my 2012 coupons which I left unused, I got to enjoy some freebies and discounts using my 2016 perks of a bella coupons. Though I still didn't used enough coupons to have a free planner. hehehe,

There are quite few additional store partners where you can avail discounts and freebies. Hooray for that. The more the merrier!! ♥♥

I'm planning to give this one to my best friend not because I don't like it but because I want to buy the one with the leather cover for me. It's actually my first choice but because my G-cash balance was not enough during the pre-order schedule, I settled for this one. I'm planning to grab one this coming BDJ Fair.

You can avail the BDJ Power Planner and other planners in their website. There's on-going Bundle Sale at the moment.

Or you can visit their pop-up store at these venues.

Until here.
See you soon folks!
