Foodie: Spicy Shrimp and Veggies ala Yheng

Sunday is usually our "seafood ulam" day. Today is not an exemption. I decided to cook Spicy Shrimp and Veggies for our brunch because it only takes minutes to cook. I'm a bit lazy today so I don't want to devote a lot of time cooking for our lunch. hahaha..

Anyway, here's my Spicy Shrimp and Veggies.

Spicy Shrimp and Veggies ala Yheng  :)

Ingredients I used today:  (you can adjust the ingredients according to your preference

12 pcs. Shrimps (leave the tail and shell intact)
1 medium sized onion
1 medium sized Red Bell Pepper
6 pcs Baguio beans (sliced diagonally, about 3 slices per piece)
1 teaspoon Gochujang or hot pepper paste (I bought mine at a Korean Store near Robinson's Manila).
1/4 cup Sprite
Salt and Pepper to taste.

Here's how to cook it.

1.Combine shrimps and1/4 cup Sprite. Season with a little bit of salt and pepper. Leave it for at least 20 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Leave fire in a medium high heat.
3. Saute Onion, Beans and Red Bell Pepper
4. Add the shrimps. Let it cook a little, then add the marinade and the pepper paste.
5. Let it cook until the sauce thickens a little bit. Check if the flavor is just right for your taste.
6. Serve with hot white rice and enjoy.

Hope you can try this recipe.

Till next Time!

See you soon folks!
