New Sample Haul ♥

I love trying new products, but honestly I'm not keen on shelling our budget for new products that I don't know if will work for me or not. That's why I love joining giveaways and contest hosted by Bloggers or by the brand itself through their social network sites. I also signed up to different sample sites in order to get my hands on to those new products, new samples before they hit the market. 

I got 4 new deliveries these past few days. All of them are sample products that I got from different websites. Here they are.

So I still believe that VIP Membership is so worth it considering that I only paid for 799 for the VIP points + the shipping fee for each transaction because I still got tons of full sized samples. :)

I have a seriously damaged hair (see photos below for reference) because of those treatments (rebond, reborn, cellophane, etc) I had from the past. And to minimize further damage, I stopped washing my hair everyday. Instead I wash it every 2 or 3 days and use shampoo and conditioner once a week, sometimes I use Baking soda and Apple Cider Vinegar as substitute to shampoo and conditioner. I also stopped having hair treatment since 2011. I tried many products, conditioners, leave-on and the likes to manage my crowning glory but to no avail, either they don't work or they leave my hair more seriously damaged.

At first I thought Pantene 3 minute miracle is just like any other product that promises a lot but doesn't deliver at all just like those I tried in the past. But after reading all the positive reviews, I got curious and decided to grab a sample (who doesn't want a free sample anyway). And truth be told after using 3 Minute Miracle, I was amazed by the result. I used to struggle a lot when combing my hair (especially when it dries up after a shower) because of the tangles here and there. But now, my hair's so soft, smooth, tangled free, shinier, lighter and more manageable than before. I also love its fruity smell. I doesn't disappoint me at all. Though I still have frizzy hair and but I noticed that it is not as frizzy as before.

January Sample Room Haulage (late posting) + Review

Hello!  It's past 2 am now, so Good Morning everyone. :) 

This is going to be my first haulage post for 2015. And because I am trying to be "thrifty" in order to save money I am limiting myself to 500 - 1000 worth of hauls every month. I can't go beyond that or else my savings will be jeopardized. 

Anyway, my first haulage is from Sample Room. You know that items from them is all for free except for the shipping fee. When they posted a series of photos regarding the new product that will be available for sampling, I make it a point to visit my Sample Room account as much as possible just to be sure to avail all the samples once their up. But luck is not on my side, because the day they posted their samples on the site, I was not available. I think I'm doing house chores that time, that I only got 2 out of the 5 samples. I got Olay Whitening Moisture with Pearl Extract Body Wash, Olay Clean Moisture with Coconut Milk and Belo Men Oil Control Face Wash.

I love the mild scent of this product. I like this better than the other one I got. It also lathers up really well. My skin feels smooth and soft after every use. To know if it will really keep my skin moisturized the whole day, I tried not to apply lotion after taking a bath and after using this product for a day. This product does not disappoint me as it really keeps my skin moisturized for a long time.

Will I buy this product? - YES. I highly recommend this product. 

My 2-cents on Olay Clean Moisture with Coconut Milk.

The scent of this one is too strong. Though it has a good moisturizing effect and lathers really well,just like the other one, I decided to stop using it after 4 or 5 days because I really don't like the scent :'(. I'm giving this to my sister. Maybe she'll like it. hehehe

Will I buy this product? - Sorry but NO.

Since I can't use this, I decided to give this to my husband. My husband is not a fan of any facial wash and other facial products. In fact he only uses soaps (the one that he uses on his body) whenever he wash his face. So I have to forced him to try this for me to be able to write review for this product. My husband has large pores and oily skin. In fact, there's not a day that he's pimple free. But after using this product (after my relentless prodding) his pimples got a little bit tamed and some dries up easily. His face is still only but not as much as before. Such a great product.

Will I buy this? - I want to, but the decision is for my husband to make. :)

December Haulage: Sample Room Collective Haulage

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know that I mentioned in my last haulage post that it would be the last for 2014, but here I go again. Can't help myself! Seriously I needed to stay away from online world for a while if I want to save money. Anyway, this post is all about what I bought from Sample Room.

First, I purchased the VIP points for PHP 799.  Maybe some of you will  be asking, "Why buy VIP points when you can use your free points naman?". "Is it worth it?". Well, I've been meaning to try it for a long time, but only recently that I was able to do it. I remember that there was a lot of times that I can't get the samples I want to try because I don't have enough points. So yeah I bought it.

Last November 26, Sample Room posted a photo about Christmas Sampling on their Facebook Page.

Knowing that I will be needing more points to be able to try a lot of samples, I decided to avail the VIP membership. Unfortunately, VIP membership was not available during that time. :( So when they posted the first 2 samples from Olay, I wanted to cry. Samples are selling like hotcakes and is decreasing dramatically and yet, I still have no points to use. It was only until November 30, that I was able to avail the VIP membership. Hallelujah! :) So after verification, I got a total of 1,113 points on my account (1000 VIP points, 113 regular points).

Anyway, my first haulage happened December 2. Here's what I bought.

So if you're going to do some math (I'm not fond of that subject), you will see that I received more, than the value of what I paid for. And besides The VIP points is recyclable for 2 months. In fact I got back the 500 points I used in availing the Olay Aquaction because my review for that product was approved already. So I can say that it's still "sulit" to the max. Therefore, availing VIP membership is all worth it.

So that's all for my Sample Room haulage. I'm trying not to visit their FB Page and the website now because I am not planning to spend more. hahahaha..

October Haul: Sample Room
